In Louisiana it's always fun to look at what might be a Chipping Sparrow that turns out to be a Clay-colored Sparrow instead. It's even better to look at what might be a Clay-colored Sparrow and see that it's actually a Brewer's Sparrow, which basically a plainer version of Clay-colored Sparrow from the arid Interior West.
